SMASH Abstracts

Ways to Present at SMASH

We offer the opportunity to present your work by submitting an abstract for:

  • Submitted Talks - These are ~20 minutes presentations, selected by the session Lead Speaker (Deadline 31 May 2022- extended to 10 June) TALK SUBMISSION NOW CLOSED
  • Scientific Posters - These are assessed by the Poster Committee based on scientific novelty and quality (Deadlines 31st May and 15 July 2022) POSTER SUBMISSION NOW CLOSED
  • MRC Symposium Talk- These are ~ 3 min flash talks presented at the Early Career Researcher Symposium on the opening Sunday evening. (Deadline 15 July 2022) MRC FLASH TALK SUBMISSION NOW CLOSED

You will be notified by email with the decision ~2 weeks after the relevant deadline.

NOTE: If you apply for a Submitted Talk it is strongly recommended that you also apply for a poster presentation with that abstract. We typically receive ~100 abstracts each year and far fewer can be selected for talks.

  • Download the Word template to use for your submission.

Note that when your abstract appears on the web some of the formatting and special characters to do not appear but are still in the document.
